Finance Systems Implementation Manager | 4-6 month FTC | £300-375pd | Hybrid Working/Very Remote | Part-time 3-4 days


A rapidly growing charity is in need of a Finance Systems Implementation Manager to lead a migration from their current finance system to a new one that is more fit for purpose following their growth.

This role will play a key role in driving change acrossthe team from finalising the product to carrying out all user testing.


As the Finance Systems Implementation Manager your role will involve:

  • Deliver the long-term strategic plan in relation to systems
  • Upgrade current accounting software (Quickbooks) and introduce new system
  • Scope requirements and conduct a tender process for the new supplier
  • Review chart of accounts and report structures
  • Oversee all data migration from one system to the incoming software
  • Embedding the new finance systems
  • Work as a key stakeholder and expert advisor for workstreams
  • Oversee delivery of training and developing existing knowledge of the organisation around systems
  • Have previous experience of implementation or development of a finance system within a similar sized organisation (£520mil income)
  • Strong experience of effective troubleshooting and resolution of challenges
  • Ideally have experience of charity finances and grant funding (restricted funding)
  • Strong understanding of data structures, experience mapping and general processes across various systems
