Description

We're looking for a Tunnels Supervisor to join our Transportation team based in the Southeast England to support the Tunnels team, to ensure schemes and planned maintenance programme works are delivered as per schedules.

A full driving licence is an essential requirement for this position.

Southeast England - site based


Contract:
Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know


Salary:
£42k pa + 20%-night working uplift + £4.5k car allowance + Benefits


Responsibilities
As a Tunnels Supervisor, you'll oversee teams of subcontractors, demonstrate good technical knowledge, and always ensure safety on site

Your day to day will include:

  • supervise the delivery of any of the SE Maintenance and Repair (M&R) Tunnels schemes and planned night maintenance programmes
- engage and attend meetings with National Highways to support the ongoing delivery of schemes and planned maintenance programmes efficiently and effectively.
- compile work packages where needed for works together with preparation and consistent presentation of documents and reports
- electrical HV&LV appointed person, for the maintenance of such apparatus onsite at our M&R Tunnels
- be a part of the Out of Hours call out Rota, to rectify and issues within the M&R Tunnels

  • Relevant experience of working in a similar role within a multi-task team environment
  • Electrical background to a City & Guilds standard
  • Possess great IT skills
