Description
Baird's Pharmacy require an Accounts Assistant, preferably with pharmacy experience, to join our office team.

  • Have experience working with accounting software (preferably Xero)
  • Have basic accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
  • Have knowledge of VAT, and be familiar with submitting MTD VAT returns
  • Have experience in working with Microsoft Office
  • Have experience in working with Irish businesses and Euros (not essential but would be an advantage)
  • Be confident in liaising with external companies such as our accountants in order to assist in their production of year end accounts
  • Have experience in Human Resources and Payroll


Baird's Pharmacy is a small chain of pharmacies, with 6 branches in the North East of Scotland and 1 in Dublin.

Our head office is situated in Aberdeen, where a small team run the administrative and accounts department. The role is a varied one, with many office admin aspects, as well as financial ones. We are looking for full time hours, which will be Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm.


We are looking for an individual who will work well in a team, but some lone working may be required so an individual with initiative and a strong work ethic would be preferred.


Salary:
£11.50-£20.00 per hour
