We are recruiting a
Female Support Worker to join our lovely existing team to provide care and support for a lady in her 50s in the
Durham area. You will join us on a
part time, permanent basis working 16 hours per week.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£11.00 per hour including £1.00 per hour enhancement at weekends and some sleeping nights required, at £9.88 per hour.


We offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries.

We have a reputation for taking on more complex cases, and constantly strive to provide the most efficient and effective service possible.


Ultimately our aim is to empower and support people to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities to promote the best quality of life.


The Female Support Worker Role:


We are currently recruiting for
Female Support Worker to support a lady in her 50s who has suffered a brain injury living within the Durham area.

She is independently mobile and can communicate fully.

A rota is provided 1 month in advance and follows a regular pattern.

Additional shifts will also be offered when covering holidays, sickness, training etc and for this reason sometimes shifts will be offered at short notice.


_45p per mile travel allowance will be offered for shifts offered at short notice_

What you can expect to be doing as our Female Support Worker:

As a
Female Support Worker, you will be prompting and supervising with her personal care, making meals and day to day activities.

The lady loves music, the theatre, jigsaws, puzzles and movies.


The client has poor short term memory and has some challenging behaviours so you will need to have patience and empathy.


What we are looking for in our Female Support Worker:

  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to provide support
  • Empathy and patience
  • A background in ABI/support work is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to participate in a range of activities with the client
  • Full UK License is essential
