We're currently recruiting for a Data Specialist for an initial 3 Month Contract for our HE Client's research programme in Edinburgh.

The role will require hybrid working of 2 days in the Central Edinburgh office and 3 from home.

The role sits within a team responsible for growing and developing the University's research support ecosystem, with approximately 10-15 members.

Rate:
£ Per Day (DOE)

Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Main requirements:

A data specialist required to 'dig deep' to understand our current Research Support data model
Ability to engage with key areas of research support to interpret 'raw' data and turn it into enhanced usable patterns for decision making and reporting purposes
Ability to understand where data is consumed
Ability to identify master sources of Data and the relationship / alignment to reporting and decision making needs
Ability to understand what these patterns will mean in terms of benefits to research support, organisational needs and able communicate findings and recommendations in an easy to understand style
Able to define a set of data designs and data reporting road maps in order to achieve our enhanced decision making ambitions for Research Support
