1st Choice Recruitment Huntingdon are recruiting for a Senior Housing Management Worker based across 7 properties in Huntingdon. Within the role you will be supporting individuals in promoting independence living and securing a brighter future.


You will take a direct responsibility for a specific group of residents as well as a small team and ensure staff work consistently and to a high standard in the delivery of services.

In brief and to ensure the delivery of the housing accommodation service, the post holder will:

  • Ensure accommodation is meeting, health and safety and objectives and performance criteria.
  • Be responsible for the resolving of problems and discrepancies with residents on benefits
  • Lead staff in writing and implementing personal development programmes for residents
  • Oversee the liaison with appropriate external agencies to obtain service for residents i.e., training, education, housing advice etc


As part of the role, you will be working on a rota basis including weekends and to be able to respond to emergency call-outs, if needed.


The role of Senior Housing Management Worker would suit an individual with work experience or knowledge in supporting vulnerable people, benefits and working within a confidential matter.

You should have good communication skills, the ability to write clearand concise reports, good IT skill and capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need a valid driving licence and access to own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
