Who are we looking for?
You enjoy working on complex cyber security problems whilst being able to suggest simple (yet effective) solutions. You are comfortable working with uncertainty and like to make things clearer. You're passionate about cyber security and you understand a broad range of technical concepts. You can communicate those technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Client's love working with you.

You are honest and do things when you say you will, you also know how to explain things clearly and concisely.

You can educate and inspire. You're equally comfortable presenting to clients, providing advice or designing solutions.

You're a collaborator and enjoy stepping out of your role from time to time, whether it's to support your clients, colleagues or to learn something new.


What might you be doing?

  • Assessing your clients' needs and understanding how their needs are different to wants and managing clients' stakeholders' relationship appropriately
  • Selecting, adopting and adapting security control frameworks
  • Designing, justifying and implementing security management strategies
  • Identifying risks and proposing proportionate controls
  • Ensuring security principles are applied during design and development to reduce risk.
  • Developing and communicating corporate information security policy, standards and guidelines.
  • Developing organisational strategies that address information control requirements. Identifying and monitoring environmental and market trends and proactively assessing impact on business strategies, benefits and risks.
  • Performing threat modelling and risk assessments to develop a holistic picture of threat.
  • Developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
  • Accurately delivering high quality work to agreed timelines and taking the initiative and knowing how to jump straight in
  • Supporting client engagements, including pitches and presentations
  • Helping to support & grow Daintta by actively inputting into the company strategy and helping to shape our future
  • Representing us and our core values: Transparency, fairness and being daring.

Sounds like something you'd enjoy? Here's a bit more about you:

  • You have degree level industry experience in cyber security
  • You have experience of working in a Consultancy or Large Systems Integrator
  • You have worked in client delivery across a range of projects and have experience in various cyber technologies
  • You have experience working on cloudbased infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • You have experience of ISO27001, NIST, CAF or other industry standards
  • You have demonstrable continuous personal development with relevant data certifications and accreditations
  • You have strong interpersonal skills
  • You have UK security clearance at SC or above or are eligible and willing to go through clearance

Location?
Hybrid, with 2-3 days working from Daintta office or on client site as required.
