Job overview:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join the Administration Team at Newquay Community Hospital.

The post is part-time, working 27 hours per week, and includes some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. A definite requirement will be to work alternate weekends (long days).

The remaining hours will mainly be to cover annual leave and sickness and will therefore not be fixed or set days.

The primary duty of the post holder will be to alternate between the busy inpatient ward and main reception.

You will need to be extremely organised and pay close attention to detail and be flexible to deal with changing work environments and priorities.

Having the ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly will also be necessary.

Previous experience of working in a patient or client-focused environment will be an advantage, as will flexibility and experience of working in a busy reception.

Training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

A uniform blouse/shirt is provided.
