This is an exciting opportunity to join Southampton CAMHS as a Clinical Psychologist within the core specialist CAMHS team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Clinical Psychologist, with postgraduate doctoral training in Clinical Psychology.
• Registered with HCPC

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Southampton's Youth Justice Team and support the delivery of care for the young people referred to CAMHS that also receive support from the Youth Justice Service.
• Support the development of psychological formulations that seeks to understand how a young person's experiences of trauma, neurodivergence, and/or their interactions with different systems creates distress and vulnerabilities to further harm.
• Contribute to the development of multi-agency care plans and provide both direct and indirect psychological intervention as appropriate - including individual therapies, Good-Lives Model informed care and Trauma-Informed Network Consultation.
