Description

Fairhaven Care Home is a 33 bedded residential care home within Colwyn Bay.

We are registered with CIW.

We are looking for care assistants and have two vacancies available due to two staff leaving to go to University.

At Fairhaven we support Adults aged 65+ years.

We are looking for someone who is caring and wanting to support individuals to maintain their independence and to have choice.

As a Care Assistant at Fairhaven you will be expected to complete an induction programme of a weeks shadow shifts.

To complete all mandatory training prior to commencing your shadow shifts.

To complete the Principle's & values award and register with Social Care Wales.

To administer medication to our residents following company policies and procedures.

Follow each residents Personal Care Plan and Risk Assessments.

Provide person centre care and each resident is given choice.

Ensure dignity is given.

Adhere to the companies GDPR.

You will be supported to gain your QCF L2 and L3
