Vivedia are an audio-visual tech business based in Sheffield with customers across the UK. We've grown enormously over the last year as a result of a customer-focussed approach and great customer service. You will need to be an adaptable, logical thinker, with a can-do attitude to join our team.


You'll work with our 12-strong quality-support-engineering team, as part of a larger team of over 100 lovely people - everyone always comments how nice and friendly everyone who works here is, and over 90% of our team say they're really happy here.

You'll be based in our offices in Sheffield.

The Role
The role is a 50/50 time split across our Media control room and our Media creation teams.

The role provides opportunities to be involved in various tasks, all of which deliver value to customers and result in high Job satisfaction.

Tasks include.

  • Operate our live stream control room (Master Control Room) during operating hours (8am to 5pm)
  • Ensure that the audio and video quality of our streams meets our quality requirements.
  • Record detailed notes where quality stands fall below requirements
  • Work with Support to remotely adjust systems to optimise output quality
  • Proactively check sites with known issues or problems to confirm if they have been rectified or need further attention.
  • Create and Quality check media products for our clients.

About you

  • You may have a relevant technical degree, or apprenticeship experience or simply on the job experience we care more about your attitude and approach
  • You'll be collaborative and supportive, enabling a one team approach, sharing knowledge and experience and being open to feedback and shared learnings
  • As a competent communicator, you'll be able to interpret information verbally and in writing with technical and nontechnical stakeholders and deliver the best expense for our customers
  • An active interest in developing technologies and an appetite for learning and knowledge sharing
  • Take an active approach to your own learning journey and career progression
