Description
FMCG business require a Junior Buyer. Applicants need intermediate MS Excel skills and be looking to build a career within procurement, supply chain or logistics.


The Junior Buyer will be responsible for managing inventory/stock levels and coordinating the movement of inventory/stock between supplier and customer locations.

The Junior Buyer will work within a team of Buyers and Logistics Planners.

Specific duties of the Junior Buyer include:

  • Updating stock levels and product codes in MS Excel and business system
  • Relationship building with suppliers and customers
  • Management of purchase order process and expediting
  • Processing of customer orders and arranging delivery
  • Work with team to streamline sourcing and supply chain processes

Junior Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • pivot tables, vlookups, formulas etc.
  • Commercial acumen
  • Experience in, or desire to build progressive career in procurement, supply chain or logistics
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
