Earl Mortimer College & Sixth Form Centre seeks to appoint an outstanding, energetic and enthusiastic full-time Head of Science to inspire our students and contribute fully to a collaborative, experienced and enthusiastic Science team.

The successful applicant will:

Be a strong and inspirational leader with a desire to drive forward a department that is committed to delivering an engaging, challenging and relevant curriculum in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Be an exceptional, wellqualified practitioner with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
Have in depth curriculum knowledge including a secure knowledge of the relevant exam specifications.
Be able to consistently model outstanding practice, with students' progress and enjoyment of learning at the forefront of your teaching.
Have exceptional organisational and clear communication skills.
Show evidence of ambition and a commitment to continuing professional development.
