Primary purpose of position


To create, maintain and distribute/make available OTS and OPLs and any other technical documentation -via paper and digital/electronic methods using new and existing business information systems.


Main duties & responsibilities

  • Create, Maintain and distribute OTS Documents
  • Create, maintain and distribute OPL documents
  • Create and maintain production routings for the production technical team, on AX and PDM, including revision control.
  • Manage the issues of customer drawings until all transferred to the PDM system
  • Manage the access and revision control of Glenair UK drawings (MRMs)
  • Manage the access of Glenair Inspection Specifications (GIS) on relevant Desktop Publishing software.
  • Be part of the Project Team to identify and implement the digitalisation and electronic management of all production documentation making it available through electronic means.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate by the Technical Support Manager.
  • Assist in the creation of production routings for the production technical team in VKS.
  • Copying legacy routings from AX to VKS

Person specification

  • Must have good time management and leadership, coaching and communication skills.
  • The job holder would require 12 months training to learn the procedures ad systems involvement to perform the job completely.
  • Experience in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Working in a fast paced environment
