We are looking for a reliable Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic EYFS team at both Docking Church of England Primary Academy and Nursery and Brancaster Church of England Primary Academy.

We are located in the beautiful rural village of Docking, located close to the Norfolk coast.

Our Academies are part of the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT), who oversee our work, training and support staff in their career pathway at all levels.

You will be responsible for supporting children in class, 1-1 support as required, and running interventions with groups of children - alongside working with the SENCO and class teachers.


We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team committed to excellence
  • Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning
  • Has GCSE Maths and English
  • Has a Level 3 Qualification
  • Has the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
  • Is motivated, passionate and reflective about their work
  • Has a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with practitioners, parents/carers and families
  • SEND additional training or qualifications are desirable
