An exciting opportunity had come up for a Sales Ledger Clerk within a warm, friendly, supportive office located in the Birmingham City Centre.

This position will supporting with a range of duties and is perfect for someone who loves taking charge of a roleand keeping themselves busy with a range of responsibilities.

This position is a temporary to permanent role, however see the temporary side as more of a probationary period as this role is definitely going permanent


This role will have the successful person looking after a range of responsibilities, such as; raising sales invoices on sage, posting these to clients, chasing up payments for these invoices, cash allocation, ad-hoc reconciliations and other sales ledgerresponsibilities.

This position involves a range of tasks which means each day can be different, it's a fast paced role but also equally rewarding.


Ideally, you will:

  • Have experience working within a sales ledger environment, completing tasks such as raising invoices, chasing debt, allocating payments etc.
  • Ideally be familiar with the software Sage, although this is not a necessity it would just be beneficial.
  • Be confident using excel as this position will involve management of reports and generating reports for senior members of staff.
  • Be immediately available as this position is looking to begin very soon.

In return, you will:

  • Have the freedom to manage your own desk, there will be deadlines but there is a lot of trust and autonomy in this role and if you are delivery good results you will be left to make your own decisions.
  • Have ongoing support from Mitchell Adam during your temporary placement to ensure you are getting the support you need to ensure you obtain the permanent placement.
  • Get to work alongside knowledgeable employees, meaning if you have any areas you're still learning in they will provide you with the support and training you need to excel
  • Have the opportunity for hybrid working once the position goes permanent.
