Could you be our new Contracts Executive
? Are you?*:

Publishing relies on contracts and copyright to function, this touches every area of our business. Working with the Contracts team, this role is a crucial part of the specialist team that deals with publishing and other contracts for SAGE UK and answers copyright questions and queries. The role would suit an organised, clear communicator with sound Microsoft skills, and the ability to prioritise and balance tasks. While contracts, legal or copyright experience are not required (training is provided), an interest in these areas is valuable.

Your new role:

You will be responsible for the smooth running of our contracts database, receiving and assessing contract and copyright queries as they come in, and answering them when appropriate.
You will lead in the drafting of publishing contracts and participate in negotiations with third parties.
You will contribute to the development of resources to support the work of the contracts team and the wider business.
You will have flexibility in how you perform the role and form part of a small specialist team at the heart of a global publisher.
