Our client, an electrical manufacturing company is currently recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role is based 5 days in the office located in Lewes.The Project Manager will be adaptable, flexible and have experience working closely with development teams.
Key responsibilities of the Project Manager
- Ensure the solution is Compliant to the Customer Specifications and Industry Standard.
- Plan, manage and deliver projects in accordance with the customers' requirements on time and within budget while considering technical constraints, quality standards, health and safety, and the customer relationship.
- Write and review projectspecific documentation, delegating to the Project Engineering support team where appropriate (e.g. projectspecific requirements, design documentation, drawings, O&M manuals and training materials).
- Develop and manage the project programme managing and coordinating internal resources including Projects Engineering support team and Systems build team.
- Produce and manage the Project Cost and Revenue forecast.
- Ensure that project and product costs are monitored and controlled against agreed budgets and presented in Monthly Project Reviews.
- Support the Sales team in developing proposals for new projects including reviewing proposed technical solutions and providing indicative time scales and resource required
Key experience for the Project Manager
- Technical Project Management and / or Design Management within regulated industry with a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project activities.
- Experience of executing multiple complex projects on time and within budget.
- Financial and commercial management.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing and delivering Integrated Control and Communications Systems projects.
- Application of Health and Safety regulations to project activities.
- Familiar with version control systems and procedures. Experience of disciplined approach to configuration with risk awareness.
- Designing, configuring and integrating 3rd party subsystems such as CCTV, Data networks, Fire interfaces, Passenger Help Points, Public Address, Telephony, Voice Alarm, SCADA.
