Description
The TPD will collate an overview of school teaching that is available for Anaesthetics and ACCS across the West Midlands, both in a local and regional capacity and for different stages of training.
The successful applicant, will on identification of curriculum deficiencies, provide leadership, coordination, and execution of teaching and simulation across the West Midlands, ensuring an impactful learning experience and fostering a collaborative environmentTPD for Education, and Simulation for Anaesthetics and ACCS at 0.5PA.
The Training Programme Director will ensure that national standards determined by the Royal College of Anaesthetists are adhered to and national and NHSE policies in Higher Specialty Training are implemented.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of School, Deputy Head of School, Postgraduate Dean and the Faculty Support Team to produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centered care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.

Main responsibilities will cover:
Assist in the engagement of trainers, coordination and logistics of the ICM teaching program, ensuring a smooth and organized learning experience.
Design realistic and scenario-based simulations to simulate critical care situations, improve trainees' readiness and decision making for real-world challenges.
