Description

The postholder will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality radiology service within a busy imaging department providing both general and specialist services in diagnostics and interventional imaging which performs more than 600,000 Imaging examinations and procedures per year.

The body radiologists provide a full on-call service.

The post-holder will contribute to the on-call service on rotation which is currently 1 in 18 weekdays and 1 in 10 Saturdays or Sundays, with SpRs providing the first level of cover.

Separate on call cover is provided by neuroradiology and vascular radiology colleagues.


Depending upon speciality interest the post holder may be required to contribute to the Body Interventional service including the insertion of abdominal drains.

The job plan will include CPD SPA.
