Location:
Office Based - Princes Street, Edinburgh

Working Hours: 21 hours over 5 days Monday to Friday. Additional hours maybe necessary in line with business requirements


Purpose of the role
To support the director and business owner with all aspects of the financial and accounting part of business operations.

We are keen to engage with individuals that have at least 18 months practical experience within a Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant position.

The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in using Microsoft office (particularly excel), experience using FreeAgent, XERO or similar with a commercial awareness and a can-do attitude.

Full training will be provided on the internal processes and systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase and sales ledger
  • Revenue analysis & reporting
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Credit control
  • Assisting with payment run preparation
  • Working closely with internal staff to produce accurate invoices for all products and services sold
  • Checking and recording supplier invoices
  • Management of company's FreeAgent account
  • Track profitability and report to Director and Shareholder

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
