We are now recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join our Team based in Normanton, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a growing company.


If successful, you will be working as part of a small, supportive finance team, where you will be given exposure to all areas of the finance role, including responsibility for the Purchase & Sales Ledger processes.

This is a really exciting and varied position where you will be challenged but also supported.


Working alongside the Management Accountant you would be responsible for the setting up all new suppliers on Xero, processing & obtaining authorisation for purchase invoices, reconciling Supplier statements and making bank payments in accordance with our payment terms.

The Sales Ledger aspect of the job involves setting up new Customer accounts on Xero; production of invoices & sending of statements; allocation of payments received accurately; and credit control


The duties of the role will include:

  • Raise sales invoices/credits and liaise with all customer queries
  • Ensure customers payment received and chase any overdue debts
  • Processing all purchase invoices accurately and in timely manner and liaise with all
supplier queries and raise payment request.

  • Ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance to their payment terms
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and production of weekly reports
  • Form an integral part of the Finance & Administration function to ensure the department
always runs effectively and efficiently.

  • All other adhoc duties as and when required by management

Experience required:


  • Experience of processing Purchase Invoices
  • Experience of raising Sales Invoices
  • Experience of managing petty cash
  • Effective communication skills
  • High levels of accuracy
  • Ability to work confidentially

Working hours: 40Hours per week

Salary:
£25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience


Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
