After the rapid growth of DCC over the last 8 years, the internal processes and have failed to keep pace with the increasing demands of the organisation.

To strengthen DCC and ensure it is fit for the future, the Business Accuracy Programme is transforming the way DCC operates.

This will lead to simpler and leaner governance, better and more accurate forecasting, robust systems, processes and reporting, which will deliver greater control and certainty of delivery for our customers.

To successfully deliver the Programme we are reengineering complex internal processes which span the Finance, Commercial and Portfolio areas of the business


What you'll be doing:


  • Lead business process workshops to develop endtoend cross functional business processes, including inputs and outputs for the process.
  • Analysing current process and data, defining revised / new improved processes.
  • Preparation of process flow diagrams from high level processes, down to detailed work instruction level.
  • Processes cognisant of systems, data and manual activity. Also definition of control points, SLA's and owners identified.
  • Application of process efficiency experience to ensure an optimal process is produced.
  • Ensuring process fits into overall e2e DCC process.
  • Support organisational events as required to drive business adoption and ensure our people embrace the change
  • Respond promptly to colleague feedback.
  • 5 + years experience in process design engineering, with experience of Finance and Commercial processes desired.
  • Proven experience and use of process methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma etc) and associated tools (MS Visio and SharePoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a multi disciplined team with multiple parties involved.
  • Excellent written skills to ensure processes are fully and accurately documented.
  • The ability to proactively build relationships and build trust from stakeholders.
  • To rapidly consume and interpret high volumes of complex data.
  • A commitment to delivering good quality outputs.
  • Well organised and able to balance multiple deadlines and priorities. Able to work at pace in a pressurised environment.
  • Capable of rapidly assimilating complex policy or technical detail and then explaining this clearly to lay audiences.
