Description

We are seeing an Academic Editor based in the Centre for Digital Scholarship to play a leading role in developing and implementing the Bodleian's policy and strategy on the Electronic Enlightenment resource in the context of our wider text collections.

The Centre for Digital Scholarship is a space and place for the Bodleian Libraries to engage, lead and shape discussions around digital scholarship practice and research within and beyond the University of Oxford.

Electronic Enlightenment is a digital resource based within the Centre for Digital Scholarship and the Bodleian Digital Library.

It has evolved over three decades to become a leading resource for researchers, academics and students as it contains almost 80,000 letters and documents from over 10,000 correspondents.

There are 150 subscribers worldwide with sales and marketing managed in partnership with Oxford University Press.

This is a unique role for an academic, researcher, curator or other expert, looking to develop skills in working with one of the UK's leading research libraries, to understand the wider developments in digital libraries, and to influence the development of a key resource for Enlightenment studies.
