About the role and team


In this exciting role you will work in the
Housing Options Team helping to
assess the
eligibility of households for
social housing and nominating households to available accommodation with our partner agencies.

In addition you will undertake
tenancy sign ups and
check outs for our
emergency homeless accommodation within the district.


About you

You should:

  • Have
    experience in
    housing and
    experience of dealing with the
    public in a
    housing capacity.
  • Be able to
    work well as a
    team although you will often be out of the office working on your own conducting home visits and attending meetings.
  • Have good
    interpersonal skills which are
    essential in this role in order to work confidently and sensitively with households in often difficult situations as well as with other agencies attempting to resolve clients housing situations.
