Situated in the heart of the Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd is a privately owned, family run engineering firm looking for 1 new member to join the team as a general labourer and logistics assistant.

Founded in 1995, the company occupies 14,000 sq ft, specialising in one-off bespoke projects, prototyping, architectural metalwork and batch manufacturing.

Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd, work with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Plastics and Non-ferrous metals and are very proud to be certified in respect to EN-1090 for the execution of both Steel & Aluminium structures.

MAIN DUTIES

Assisting the Production Manager & Logistics Team Leader with daily workshop and yard maintenance duties.
The preparation of goods for dispatch to site/our clients or collections
Assisting in the operation of our laser cutter and sheet metal press brakes
Use of general workshop machinery
Wrapping and Packing of goods
Loading and Unloading of goods
Handy works, Painting, workshop tidying, fixing, light gardening
Possible requirements to attend site to assist with installations
Working in the yard and workshop.

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent ability to communicate at all levels.
Accurate with good attention to detail.
Ability to forward think and plan ahead

JOB TYPE
Permanent, Full time

SALARY
£25,415 per year

Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm. 8.5 working hours per day, paid morning break and half hour unpaid lunch break.
