Cancer Alliances are key to affecting the transformational change needed to achieve world-class cancer outcomes for their population as set out in the Cancer Taskforce strategy.

The further development of the SYB ICS Cancer Alliance within the SY Health and Social Care Integrated Care Board is fundamental to securing an operational delivery model that is compliant with guidance and quality standards.

This post will support the Project and Programme/workstream Manager for Clinical Effectiveness and Performance and other leads within SYB Cancer Alliance to achieve the objectives for projects they are assigned.

The work of the Project Implementation Officer will support multiple projects across the Cancer Alliance, as we deliver cancer pathway improvements and research and innovation initiatives, with administrative and PMO tasks as directed by the Project Manager.
