We are seeking a Security Officer for a modern student accommodation for an immediate start in READING, RG1.

Night shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis. £11.53 per hour.
The role is to provide a safe and secure environment for student accommodation in Reading.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Night shifts - 4 on 4 off
:

Must be computer literate.
Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to buildings at all times.
Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested.
Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation.
Access / Egress control.
Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system.
Key Holding responsibilities.
Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks.
Adhering to policies and procedures at all times.
General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site.
Provide a high standard of customer service.
Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos.
Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.

Nights on a 4 on 4 off basis

Essential Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence.
Commitment to providing first class customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Fully comprehensive 5year work/education history.
Right to work in the UK.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliability.
Punctuality.
