Job Role:
Transport Planner

Location:
Hinckley

Working hours: 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PM

Salary - £30K-£36K + bonus

Responsibilities:

Utilize transport experience/knowledge to efficiently plan and manage loads with hauliers and subcontractors.
Actively contribute to the growth and success of the business in the capacity of a 4PL (4th Party Logistics) company.
Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with hauliers and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services.
Work collaboratively with the team and participate in training sessions on pricing and negotiation techniques.

Requirements:

Previous experience in transport planning or a related field is required
Demonstrated drive and commitment to contribute to the growth of the business.
Confidence and excellent communication skills, as the role involves approximately 80% phonebased interactions.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to maximize opportunities and build positive relationships.
