We are a prestigious school based just outside of Farnham who are seeking a qualified teacher of Photography or an ambitious graduate seeking to commence a career in education to teach Photography across the age range, including for GCSE and A' Level.

Anability also to teach Creative Media would be an advantage so you will ideally need to hold a degree in photography, creative media or a similar discipline.

This is a 3 month fixed term contract to cover maternity to start in March 2023, we can offer a salaryof c£27k pro rata which will be paid in monthly instalments plus free parking, free lunches, holiday allowance and pension.

Woking Monday - Friday8.20 am until 4.30 pm four days a week and 8.20 am until 5.30 pm one day a week during termtime.

You will be an adaptable and self-reflective professional who is capable of working collaboratively within a supportive team.

In addition to the commitments of the teaching timetable, the post-holder will be a form-tutor, supported and guided by the Headof Year.

This role requires the post-holder to liaise with teaching staff and parents to support the emotional wellbeing of the pupils and to develop pupils' organisation.

Like all full-time staff, the post-holder will also be expected to lead one extra-curricular,after-school activity, on one afternoon a week from 4.30pmuntil 5.30pm during term-time.

The post-holder will participate in the supervision-duty programme, responsible within a team of staff allocated to duties at lunch and break-times, and other times asis necessary.

The writing of reports and completion of other records, and attendance at parent consultation evenings are elements of the role.


A comprehensive induction programme is offered, and ongoing professional development is supported through INSET days and training opportunities including the opportunity to gain nationally accredited qualifications should the contract be extended or becomepermanent.

Lunch is provided free of charge, daily. Free parking is available to all staff


The above list of duties is not exhaustive, and the post-holder may be required to perform such other duties as may be, from time to time, deemed necessary by the Headmaster.

This is a non-residential post.
