We are currently seeking a Land & Development Manager for a large investment fund for both property and land projects.
Responsible for the financial growth of the projects, you will be leading onsecuring planning, and consents, buying land, negotiating onfunding as well as appointing and managing design and technical consultants.
You will also oversea sales and marketing for lettings and disposals. You will also be responsible for directing multi-disciplinary teams, in-house project managers and programmecoordinators.Responsibilities include:
- Environmental sustainability, health and safety and quality control
- Advising on the marketfacing elements within the development making sure that they meet customer needs
- Oversea sales and marketing for disposals and lettings
- Lead on the appointment of design and technical consultants during RIBA stage 0
- Lead on appraising land for acquisition, assessing the market failures to support future development
- Ensure that internal and external consultants are clear on the direction of the project and motivate them to deliver successfully
- Proactively identify and manage risks
- Ensure strong budgetary control and financial management is undertaken
- Reflect on the project performance, drawing insights to continuously improve
- Lead on the negotiations of funding, promotion and development agreements
Your experience:
- Relevant qualification and/or experience within Real Estate
- Proven experience of land buying, securing planning, negotiation, promotion and development agreements
- Proven experience of working within RIBA stages 02 and appointing relevant consultants
- Extensive experience of development management of land and property projects
- Extensive experience of progressing schemes from inception to planning consent
- A solid understanding of environmental sustainability, the legal and financial requirements, occupier needs as well as sales and marketing for lettings and disposals.
- Proven experience of advising on marketfacing aspects of the scheme development as well as financial appraisal
- A genuine appreciation of economic development preferred
