Are you an experienced IT security professional, looking for a new challenge in your career? Do you have demonstrable experience of manually securing databases without the need for tools? Have you got experience of assessing HLD and LLD? Do you have a strongbackground with on-premise infrastructure security? I'm looking to speak with individuals who have experience with Oracle and SQL. You will ideally be familiar with Solaris/Unix security. You must be familiar with vulnerability and risk assessments with an understanding of threat modelling.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain security for database technologies across a variety of venders and technology types

Provide technical and process designs across various platforms, such as Oracle and Solaris

Ensure compliance is upheld and that the necessary requirements are actioned

Keep up to date with emerging technologies to allow the organisation to remain at the cutting edge

Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT and SANS

A relevant security qualification, such as CISSP or CISM

Previous exposure to security engineering

Security leadership skills with an ability to influence others to ensure an increased security maturity

Excellent stakeholder management skills

Desired experience with:

Oracle Enterprise Security Solutions

SQL and MYSQL

Audit Vault Database Firewall

Database and Solaris/Unix security

Vulnerability and Risk Assessments

Threat Modelling

Application Security

Network Security and Access Management Controls

Data Loss Prevention and Data Classification

Security Architecture

Cryptography
