About The Role:

***As a senior practitioner you will be delivering a Portage-based home visiting early intervention service to children under 5 with special educational needs or disabilities, and assisting with the running of two Developmental stay and play sessions in Camden.

Key responsibilities include:
Building partnerships with parents
Making regular weekly visits to family homes
Working with the Coordinator or another member of the team run a weekly Portage group
Managing own case work
Setting our intervention plans to include weekly activities, reviewing progress and producing relevant written reports
Please note this a part time role 24 hours per week

About You:

***- This is a senior role and ideally you will have experience of working in the early years sector and have relevant qualifications of NVQ 3 or equivalent. An understanding of the Portage method is desirable.- You will have experience of working with parents and multi agency professionals and working with children who have disabilities or developmental concerns. Have an understanding of learning though play and current safeguarding processes.
