Reed Financial Services are proud to be working alongside an expert financial planning firm in recruiting an IFA Sales Manager.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm with big plans for growth over the coming year, in managing their team of 10 financial advisors across the southwest.


This is purely a management role, with no requirement to give financial advice, however there is an expectation to assist with newer advisors so experience and necessary qualifications are a must.


The role offers a competitive package depending on experience and is being offered on a hybrid basis with occasional office presence required.

Key Purpose


Lead and manage the IFA team to (i) drive sales revenue; (ii) deliver cultural and growth objectives that reinforce overall business strategy and (iii) ensure a 'best in breed' client experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide day to day leadership and support to IFA's and mortgage advisors
  • Take ownership of income targets, achieving individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed
  • Encourage and enable our values and culture throughout the business
  • Support the development of the business proposition
  • Work with the advisors to drive and develop sales to meet financial targets for new income and funds under advice through effective business planning
  • Instil a culture of professional development within the team, including qualification, product and technical knowledge with relevant competency levels achieved and maintained
  • Manage and develop individual and team performance through identification of training needs and implementation of coaching and development plans to develop capability within the business
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure Company guidelines, compliance, complaints, policy and procedures are followed consistently to minimise risk to the company
  • Produce accurate and detailed MI reports as required to monitor achievement of budget and quality targets
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum
  • Experience working within an IFA firm managing a Sales /Advisory team.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations
  • Dependable leader with the ability to encourage and work in a trusted environment
  • Proficient in creating a resultsdriven team, focusing in both the short and long term, whilst empowering individuals to focus on their goals
  • Highly motivated and committed to achieve and deliver
