Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport food items to customers' homes, businesses, and other locations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about our menu and specials.
  • Follow established delivery routes and maintain an accurate delivery log to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders.
  • Collect payments from customers and return any change due.
  • Help with instore duties such as food preparation, cleaning, and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle maintenance issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including regular fueling and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and make change accurately.
  • Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to use for deliveries.
  • Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role is preferred.

Working Conditions:


The delivery driver will spend most of their time on the road, driving to various locations to deliver food orders.

They will also be required to work in-store, assisting with food preparation and other duties as needed. The work environment can be fast-paced and busy, with frequent interactions with customers.
