Position Summary

Reporting Structure
The position reports to the Creative Director of brandx's Branded Graphics, Wayfinding & Signage team. An alternative reporting structure may be determined based on current studio structure or project workload.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include research, concept development, design, execution, and implementation of various types of projects for corporations and institutions, as well as project management and client interaction.

The role will require active participation and leadership in all aspects of the design process from responding to RFPs, to performing background material reviews and/or inventories of a client's existing documentation, to design and installation oversight.

Role Qualifications
years of professional experience

Undergraduate design degree
Environmental graphic design, and/or architectural design experience
Ability to develop design intentlevel documentation, review shop drawings and submittals, and have a technical understanding of fabrication and installation techniques
Knowledge of accessibility requirements and city statutory standards specific to signage is a plus
Proficient in multitasking and managing several projects at once
Creative and critical thinker who is equally collaborative and independent
Passionate about design, art, and architecture
Effective in sharing and delegating project responsibilities to maintain efficiency
Confident in taking ownership of projects and proactively identifying and solving problems that arise during the design process
An open and positive personality, with a strong desire for skill development
