Description

The Faculty of Humanities is one of three faculties in the University of Manchester and consists of four Schools that offer an unprecedented range of innovative programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The Faculty is looking to appoint a full-time Admissions Assistant on a fixed term basis for 5 months.

The overall purpose of the job is:

  • To provide clerical and administrative support for key activities of admissions across the University including making standard decisions, updating applicant records and resolving errors on records as well as providing support on open days, visit days, interviews and confirmation and clearing activities.
  • To deliver excellent service provision and support colleagues with continuous improvement, placing the student experience at the heart of what we do with support for a single PS team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.


Furthermore, they must be prepared to undertake work outside regular office hours, including weekends on an occasional basis, as necessary.
