Description
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload packages and materials onto delivery vehicles
- Safely operate a manual transmission vehicle to transport items to designated locations
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatched
- Ensure packages are properly secured and protected during transportation
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with no more than 6 points
- Previous experience as a courier or in a similar delivery role is preferred
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle confidently and safely
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of packages
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading packages of various sizes and weights
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
