The Division
NSS Testing is all about a varied workload from replacing a single lamp to installing a fully automated vehicle gate with

access and intercom control. We offer a comprehensive design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance service for

all types of electrical installations ranging from Industrial, commercial electrical installations inc fire alarm and

emergency lighting installations, automatic doors, gates, roller shutters, CCTV systems


Your job will include:


  • Responsibility for managing the daytoday service requests, providing a point of contact to clients and the NSS Testing division
  • In conjunction with the Contracts Manager / Senior Account Manager responsible for the allocation of operatives; vehicles and equipment, via the works scheduler within the NSS Testing Jobwatch platform
  • In conjunction with the relevant Contracts Manager / Senior Account Manager responsible for tracking operative productivity, monitoring travel and allotted works time, whilst gauging opportunities for further
output on a real-time basis via the NSS Testing Jobwatch platform.

  • Assisting the quotation process from point of enquiry, liaising with relevant Contracts Manager/ Senior Account Manager / Estimator to obtain the technical scope of works detail and accurate costs, all via the NSS Testing Jobwatch platform.
  • Accountable for tracking all submitted quotations and in conjunction with Contracts Manager / Senior Account Manager responsible for converting enquiries into instructions
  • Supporting the preparation of Health and Safety packs, processing technical information from the relevant Contracts Manager / Senior Account Manager, all via the NSS Testing Jobwatch platform
  • In conjunction with the relevant Contracts Manager / Senior Account Manager responsible for the validation of postworks reports, accurately recording the works carried out on site, complete with recommendations for additional works all via the NSS Testing Jobwatch platform
  • Liaison with team to log and administer all purchases required for all works instructions, while ensuring that minimum margins are met.
  • Responsible for the preparation of invoicing data to accurately account for all works completed on each job using the NSS Testing Jobwatch platform
  • Responsible for generating and processing reports, as per client / contract agreed format and frequency
  • Supporting the wider helpdesk team in responding to all general customer sales and service enquiries
  • Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is maintained
  • Providing support to fieldbased operatives, taking ownership of requests
  • Providing general assistance to Senior Account Manager, Contract Managers and Operations Manager / Director
  • Ensuring cover of phones during lunches / busy periods
  • Taking care of incoming mail
  • Creation of test certificates
  • General admin

Experience / Personal Attributes Required:


  • Ideally a proven track record working in a similar fast paced role
  • Strong PC skills, proficient typing and data entry skills essential
  • Previous use of CRM systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload
