REED Finance are delighted to be working with an established, family-owned business to recruit a permanent Financial Controller.

Based in High Wycombe, this friendly SME is the market leader in their specialist industry, providing support to private and public sector across the UK.

They are seeking a Financial Controller with a broad skillset, who is confident managing all aspects ofthe business' finance function to join their close-knit team based out of their High Wycombe Head Office.

Managing a team of seven and reporting into the Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for a team player who thrives in an SME setting to work at the heart of a business.

This role is likely to develop into that of FD in the future so someone whois keen to head up an entire finance function will be well placed here.

Key Responsibilities include:

Managing the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Treasury, and Fixed Assets
Managing a team of 67 people across the Accounts team
Supporting with monthly Management Accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Supporting with Year End and liaising with auditors
Systems and process improvement

You will be a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a familiar setting and with a small team, and a role with a lot of breadth.

You will have strong attention to detail and have excellent analytical skills. You will be a natural problem-solver with theability to use your initiative to drive a business forwards. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be excellent and you will value collaboration and team work.

Essential:
Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Ideal:
Experience using Netsuite

This office-based role is offering a salary of up to £60k per annum plus benefits.
