Woodland Court Residential Home in Fareham, Hampshire is looking for a painter/decorator to join us in Portchester.


SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The role is to provide a painting/decorating service for Woodland Court in Portchester and to upkeep all areas of the home to a good standard.

Previous experience in this kind of role is required and beneficial skills include painting and decorating, plastering, heavy lifting, and general DIY work.

You must be motivated, conscientious and willing to prioritise tasks where appropriate.

You must be good at time management and able to take instructions from the manager as well as use your initiative.

You must be able to drive and have your own car as part of your job will be travelling to pick up supplies when needed.

You must have a clean police record and a DBS will be checked.

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in a similar role is required (particularly a care home, school hotel etc)
• Beneficial skills: painting and decorating, plastering and general DIY experience
• Selfmotivated and conscientious individual
• Friendly, reliable personality
• Ability to think outside the box
• Able to keep paperwork up to date
