Interim Finance Manager

Partner Financial are working with a high-growth events business based in West London.

The business is PE backed and has been highly acquisitive over the past few years, which has resulted in exponential growth and further investment in the finance team.

They are now aiming to build a best-in-class finance function to be the focal point for achieving their goals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daytoday activity of the Finance team, including the monthend process.
  • Leading monthend management accounts, budget control, VAT returns, Cash, AP & AR, and other adhoc projects that arise.
  • Working with the Group Financial Controller to deploy new strategic initiatives for the business.
  • Supporting with the implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Providing support in the analysis of results and presenting them to senior stakeholders and then identify opportunities and risks.
  • Supporting on negotiations with suppliers and outsourced providers.
  • Getting involved with various adhoc tasks throughout the department and always seeking to improve processes where possible.
  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Experience in a highgrowth SME environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional management accounting skills with the ability to work within a small function with high transaction volumes.
  • Excellent IT literacy.
  • Highly organised, with a strong track record of meeting frequent, tight deadlines.
