We are a client focused Independent Financial Planning business providing expert advice on investments, pensions and estate planning. We are looking to recruit a recent graduate to join our team as a Trainee Financial Planner.

A Financial Planner assists high net worth individuals and businesses to build and maintain a structured plan to meet their financial objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring client files are up to date and in order
• Updating back office systems
• Data gathering to assist with the production of client meeting documents
• Communicate with clients
• Assist with the drafting of reports to ensure that they are produced to a high quality and in a timely manner
• Gaining exposure to the full investment advice process
• Completing ongoing training following a structured learning and exam programme with the aim of achieving a Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII).
• Acquiring knowledge of company procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance

Hours / Remuneration / Holidays / Location

• Salary: Starting at £22,000 building with experience and exam passes to circa £37,000 once Diploma Level
• Pension: Employer contributions 10% in addition to salary
• Holidays: 33 days inclusive of bank holidays
• Hours of business: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm
• Location: Inverness City Centre
