Westdale Care Home provides a friendly, comfortable and peaceful environment for residents, where individual choice and independence is encouraged and respected.

This role is for a 'Care Home Assistant' for at least 16 hours a week over 7 days mornings and afternoon/evening (weekend shifts are included).

This is a varied role and may include helping in all areas of the home including kitchen and housekeeping.

We pay

No NVQ - £10.48 weekdays and £11.38 Saturdays and Sundays (NVQs provided develop).

With NVQ £11.58 weekdays and £12.48 Saturdays and Sundays.

*Rates being reviewed from April 2023

There may also be sleep-in shifts available paid at set rates, £61.58 weeknights and £72.48 Sat & Sun (hourly rate paid if woken).

Experience in the care home sector is essential and having a diploma/NVQ in social care is advantageous.

We are a not-for-profit organisation with a CQC rating of outstanding for care and have family feel service where staff are as cared for as the residents.

There are free meals available and an employee assistance program to help with positive well being.
