    Group Financial Controller

    We are seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to join our ambitious and fast-growing Industrial Services company.

    The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for leading the Central Finance function, managing Accounts staff across multiple sites in the UK, and ensuring the production of timely and robust Group financial reporting and consolidated Management accounts.

    The key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a first-class Finance team.
    • Financial Reporting: Ensure the production of timely and robust Group financial reporting and consolidated Management accounts, automating the process as much as possible.
    • Statutory Accounts: Management and oversight of Year-end Statutory Accounts consolidation process for all group entities.
    • Auditor Interaction: Manage the timetable and interaction with Auditors.
    • Financial Systems: Develop and strengthen financial systems, processes, and controls within the newly implemented ERP system with an ongoing focus on driving continuous improvements.
    • Business Process Improvement: Streamline business processes to reduce transaction processing time, including develop an efficient Shared Services function.
    • Accounting Policies: Document and develop Group Accounting Policies and Procedures.
    • Cashflow and Working Capital Management: Group Cashflow and Working Capital Management, including Bank covenant monitoring and reporting.
    • Treasury Management: Treasury Management.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Production of Annual Budgets and quarterly Forecasts.
    • Mergers and Acquisitions: Manage and integrate new Acquisitions/M&A activity from a financial and management reporting perspective.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre graduate Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in a multi-site Group Reporting business environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, commercial/business understanding, and proven management skills and stakeholder liaison experience.

    The salary for this role is up to c. £100k plus Annual Bonus scheme and a comprehensive Benefits package.
