Network Specialist - Logical Configuration
Job Responsibility
The Logical Configuration Team are responsible for the Logical Configuration of the Access and Core Networks Optical and IP including GSM over fiber and microwave, they are also responsible for the Logical Configuration of the DCN and Sync networks and formigration activities to support Rationalisation/Closure projects.
- Ways of Working
- To ensure all Logical Configuration activities follow the Network Connectivity planning/configuration guidelines.
- Responsible for all BAU configuration for Mobile Transmission and Enterprise Optical configurations
- Responsible for networks Logical Configuration for Sync and DCN
- Meet all SLA's Logical Configuration function.
- Work with all third party resources onshore and offshore as part of an extended team
Experience
- 23 years plus Telco Rollout experience in IP & Optical
- Takes a proactive approach to managing activities and risks and work closely with the Network Specialistto ensure successful outcomes.
- Ability to get things done in a matrix organisation.
- Communication Support field engineers
