Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need.

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration
  • Create and implement care plans based on individual patient needs
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Manage behaviors and provide behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for patients
  • The applicant must be flexible to travel to the clients home for care or travel to the clients Care Home for care

Skills:


  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience in providing patient care in various settings
  • Ability to create and implement effective care plans
  • Proficient in first aid techniques
  • Familiarity with dementia care and hospice care practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
  • Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices
  • The applicant must know how to do Sign Language as the clients are deaf and need to be communicated through Sign Language

ONLY SIGN LANGUAGE

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 48 months


Salary:
From £21,600.00 per year
