I am working with a leading client of mine who are looking for a freelance DevOps engineer on an initial 6 month project.


THIS ROLE REQUIRES DV CLEARANCE

  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS.
  • Creating automated, reliable and repeatable deployment pipelines.
  • Creating cloud solutions that are secure from the start.
  • Working with infrastructureascode.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles.
  • Software engineering one or more language (such as Python).
  • Track record in developing and delivering production ready components.
  • Good knowledge of testing approaches and best practice.
  • Interpreting detailed specifications and translating into simple solutions.
  • Track record in the documentation of code.
  • Good understanding of Windows/Linux infrastructure.
  • Ensuring development outputs are suitably integrated into release modules
  • Taking the lead in progressing these through the relevant stages into live service.
  • Supporting of the releasetoservice process including security and accreditation processes.
  • Providing Technical advice and expertise on designs, solutions, tools, techniques and standards
  • Hands on development of real world solutions
  • Troubleshooting, investigations and incident resolution.
