1 x Fixed Term contract/secondment opportunity for up to 12 months

The Legacy Mentor role is a rewarding opportunity which will appeal to an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse in the mid to late stages of their career.

This role could include helping and supporting newly qualified or new to area / department nurses, internationally educated nurses, AHPs, students and those in other clinical roles, by imparting knowledge, skills and experience through coaching and supporting colleagues through early and transitional stages within their careers.


We can all reflect on the importance of mentors and role models in our own careers, and this is an opportunity to have that kind of influence on the incoming generation as they set out on a career, and others who are progressing in their career, in Mental Health service provision.


The successful applicant will work flexibly within Wotton Lawn Hospital whilst establishing and maintaining a connection with the Professional Development & Clinical Skills Team and other teams within GHC Learning and Development Dept e.g.

Mental Health Training and Leadership and OD. Time will be spent at Wotton Lawn, Invista, Brockworth and working from home.
