This full-time position can lead to a permanent contract.
Although the main requirement is during the summer there is scope to further develop this role to include overall responsibility for the extra-curricular program of the college for academic year and short-course students.
Coordinate and manage temporary summer activity staff.
Lead and enthuse participants in a diverse and inclusive activity programme.
Assist in preparing equipment for activities on the extra-curricular programme.
Ensure the students are safe and supervised at all times during activities on all courses.
Be fully aware of, and follow, Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments.
Work closely with the welfare team and assist with welfare duties as required.
Previous experience is desirable but enthusiasm and imagination essential.
The college is well resourced with gym, sports hall, cinema, gaming room, stage, musical instruments, art studio, over 40 acres of grounds and a wealth of sporting and activity equipment.
